Privacy Policy

ForgeField is a product of Angstrom Systems, Inc. (“Angstrom”, “we”). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information across the ForgeField website and platform, including the notification text messages we send to the businesses that use it.

Information we collect

Contact information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, and company details — for example when you request a pilot, create an account, or contact us.

Account and service data you put into the platform to run your business: leads, estimates, jobs, invoices, photos, voice memos, and the customer contact details attached to them. This is your business's data. We process it to provide the service — not to profile individuals and not to build advertising audiences.

Communications data: phone numbers, message delivery metadata, and records of the notifications we send you, including consent and opt-out records.

Website usage data: standard technical information such as browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited, used in aggregate to understand what people find useful.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the service, respond to inquiries, send communications you have consented to receive, meet legal and carrier compliance obligations (including opt-out enforcement), and improve the product. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

Text messaging (SMS)

ForgeField can send account and service notification text messages about your ForgeField account — for example, an alert when your business misses a call.

Text messages under this program are sent only to ForgeField account holders (business operators) about their own account and service activity. We do not send text messages to our customers' customers under this program.

Text messages are strictly opt-in. You opt in by checking the consent box and providing your mobile number in your ForgeField account settings; consent is not a condition of purchase, and declining does not affect your service.

Message frequency varies with your account activity and is disclosed at opt-in. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation of your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent to you from that number. Reply START to resubscribe or HELP for assistance.
Opt-out requests are honored automatically and enforced across every message type sent from that number.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive (such as our telecommunications carrier).

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers who process it on our behalf to deliver the service — such as telecommunications carriers, email delivery providers, and hosting providers — under obligations of confidentiality.
The business you hired, where you are that business's customer and the information relates to your work with them. If you received an estimate through ForgeField, the company that sent it controls that information.
Authorities, where required by law.

Forms on this site

When you submit the pilot request form, the name, company, email address, phone number, and message you enter are delivered to us through Netlify, the service that hosts this site, and by email. We use that information to reply to you and, if we work together, to set up your account. It is not added to a marketing list.

Data retention and security

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, compliance, and audit obligations — including records of consent and opt-out, which we retain specifically so that we can honor them. We protect information with industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, and each business's data is isolated from every other business's on the platform.

Children

ForgeField is a tool for businesses and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
